Hi and welcome to my website.   My name is Katie McGettigan.  I am sixteen years old and I live in Birmingham Alabama. I am a Junior at John Carroll Catholic High School. I am a member of the Honors Choir and Campus Ministry. I attend Our Lady Of Lourdes Church where I have been a cantor for several years. Christmas is my favorite time of year so I really enjoy being involved in our Christmas Eve Mass and taking part in Lessons and Carols.  Like most people my age, I enjoy being with friends, going to ballgames, movies, concerts,  and just hanging out. The thing I like to do most is work with and be around horses.  I volunteer at Special Equestrians,  which is an organization that uses horses in therapy with special needs children and adults.  I hope one day to be an equine veterinarian.  This year,  I have teamed up with Children's Hospital of Alabama and produced a Christmas cd titled "Christmas Memories" and it can be purchased thru iTunes.  Please check it out and help me,  help them with their struggles and illnesses.
